Great idea…we used to talk on telephones with this swirley cord attached to it…you actually had to stand in one place while talking…it was a great experience and a chance to really check out the cabinets and floor for dirt and cracks. Very interactive

back in ancient times, we used to do this a lot. and the album art pass was something a lot of us lamented when vinyl went away. i still have 5 cases of LPs and two turntables stashed away…

yea sweet concept + good records to listen to. i’d love to hear radiohead on vinyl. especially something like kid-a which is so electronic. im sure the scratchiness just enhances its greatness.

I know we would all love to have Coldplay go back to their roots and retrieve the sounds from “Parachutes” but that is the thing about music and musicians…they are always evolving. Very rarely will you have a band that will continue to produce the same sounds in every record. The listener would probably feel like it is monotonous. It is a never-ending process of evolution.

i agree with your thoughts on coldplay. i’ve been listening to parachutes a lot lately, and i really miss that sound from them.
